December 2025 General Meeting & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner Recap
On December 10, 2025, Curry Anadromous Fishermen members and supporters gathered at The Landing North for a memorable evening celebrating another successful year at Indian Creek Hatchery. With 60 attendees in the room, the event reflected the strong sense of community that continues to drive the hatchery’s mission forward.
Doors opened at 5:00 PM for a social hour, followed by the evening’s business meeting at 5:45 PM. Treasurer Jesse Dolan presented the annual financial report and answered questions from members, offering transparency and insight into the organization’s operations.
The Board of Directors election was next on the agenda. With one open position remaining, members were invited to submit nominations from the floor. The slate for 2026 — Roger Lindquist, Joe Janowicz, Jesse Dolan, Laura Hawkins, Gary Underhill, Bruce Blanthorn, Bruce Beck, and Gene Trinkler — was approved unanimously.
Attendees then enjoyed a “Year in Review” presentation, complete with a booklet of photos and highlights from 2025. It was a meaningful look back at a year filled with challenges, accomplishments, and dedication to salmon restoration.
A new and exciting announcement followed with the introduction of the CAF Auxiliary Group, presented by Janet Jeffreys. Members interested in participating were invited to connect with Janet for more information. Please call her at 805-265-6012 if you would like further information.
Dinner was served shortly after, and the evening continued with remarks from John Weber, joined by Andrew and Georgia. John reflected on the incredible recovery efforts following the flood and expressed deep appreciation for the countless volunteer hours contributed at the hatchery. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to honor those who made the year’s success possible.
The night concluded with gratitude, connection, and optimism for the year ahead!
