Days to fish: Apr 21, 23, 28, and 30 Times: 9 AM-2 PM
Reel Fish Days at Arizona Pond bring four days of hands-on learning and fishing fun to local third graders. With the help of more than 30 dedicated volunteers each day, students learn how to tie knots, cast a line, and experience the excitement of catching their first fish. Located just 10 miles north of Gold Beach, Arizona Pond is regularly stocked with rainbow trout, making it an ideal setting for outdoor education.
These visits give young anglers the chance to connect with nature, learn about local ecosystems, and build skills they’ll carry with them for years to come — often ending the day by taking their catch home for a memorable meal.
