The Hatchery Bounces Back After Storm

We’re thrilled to share that Indian Creek Hatchery is back up and running after suffering major damage during the winter storms that hit our region earlier this year. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and support from the community, we’ve repaired the damage and resumed essential operations just in time for the spring release season.

The hatchery’s story of recovery was recently featured in the Curry Coastal Pilot. The article highlights the challenges we faced — including flooding and infrastructure loss — and the incredible effort it took to restore the facility.

We’re so grateful for the outpouring of support. Whether you’ve donated, volunteered, or simply shared kind words, you’ve helped make this recovery possible. The hatchery’s mission continues — and we’re coming back stronger than ever.
