Hosted by Curry Anadromous Fishermen, this annual community event raises funds for Indian Creek Hatchery and supports the health of Fall Chinook salmon in the Rogue River. Anglers of all experience levels are welcome.

Derby Dates:
August 19–22, 2026
Gold Beach, Oregon
Registration:
Registration is expected to open around August 1 at Rogue Outdoor Store. Anglers may also register during the Derby at the weigh station.
Weigh Station
The Derby weigh station will be located near the fish cleaning station at the Port of Gold Beach.
Banquet & Awards Ceremony:
Join us on the evening of Saturday, August 22 at the Gold Beach Community Center to wrap up the Derby. Dinner menu, pricing, and additional details will be announced soon.
The evening will also feature the Derby raffle boards, silent auction items, and an opportunity to purchase a handcrafted wooden salmon landing net made by a Gold Beach resident.
Why Participate
All proceeds benefit Indian Creek Hatchery, a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to restoring and sustaining salmon populations. Your participation directly supports hatchery operations, education, and conservation efforts that protect our waterways and fisheries for future generations.
